- gulp -

check out gulp, it’s an amazing stop motion animation by sumo science at aardman! the filming broke a world record for the ‘largest stop-motion animation set’, with scenes stretching over 11,000 square feet. it was shot entirely on a nokia n8 camera phone, which is impressive as well. you can watch a making-of video here. - aquarium visit -

we went to the georgia aquarium for the first time recently. we had a great time exploring the various sea creatures. i’m sure we will be back a lot more when we the little one arrives. check out our youtube page for other videos as well. – ryan

jaxa, japans equivalent of nasa, recently had a spacecraft return to earth after being in space for 7 years. the hayabusa travelled on an asteroid during its space exploration to research and retrieve samples for further studying. landing a spacecraft on an asteroid and returning it to earth sounds so sci-fi to me. below is [...]
